Don't steal this album...

Nothing special today, aside from the fact that I've waited for 9 hours to download my dream girl's album (of course she's not the only one), well it really sounds silly that a guy actually tries his patience on a 56k connection with actual connection speed of 28.8 kbps (why the heck do I only get half of it?) to download a full album, but I just can't hold myself from doing it. It pays, though she's a bit wet behind the ears, but this was her first album back then and it's not a bad start at all, at least I still love all the songs ^.^. Her voice is sweet, innocent, and powerful (sometimes, theme-oriented). Well, she's one of my favorite Japanese artists, Mikuni Shimokawa. She is talented, first seen hitting the Japanese store at the year 2000, she is one of a kind, being capable of writing songs, and even play piano!! (muacks) She's kinda special if compare to my other favorites, this is because she was the reason I got addicted to Japanese songs. Her song was my first approach to Japanese songs and I got so excited about all the other female Japanese singers since then (and some male singers too), although I have tons of favorites, and taste varies, but still, I love her ^.^. Well, I'm looking forward to the next 9 hours, cause I'm downloading her 2nd album V(^.^)V. Oh by the way, a word of advice. DO NOT STEAL MUSIC, frankly I hate piracy and downloading, I did this not on my own willingness, it's just that I can't find her albums in Malaysia, if I could somehow, I'd make sure I get them, given that I have enough cash on hand. Even if I already had that song, I will still buy it. I like music, I respect it, and I respect artists' efforts, if you are like me and have a few admirers I am sure that you will understand my feeling and passion for the music. Yes I'm poor, but still I will hold firm to my principle of buying my favorite artists' albums all by myself (original), I can do it, what about those of you who are "more capable" than me? ;-) Oh, in case you are wondering, I have around... Erm... 1, 2, 3, 4... About 30+ original albums, well that's the best I can do as a student, of course more are on the way :-). I felt guilty every time I downloaded a song from the Internet... Seriously... =.=""

Some recent thoughts: Today I read this from the newspaper, Jaya Supermarket at Seksyen 14 is going to be demolished, hmm... It didn't look THAT old to me... And whatever happened to our lovely Sun, it seems to be acting a bit violently these few weeks, scorching hot even in the night =.=. Lastly, I did not get to "communicate" that often lately, because of this downloading business I need to stop surfing websites and MSN just to compensate connection speed for my download manager, I hate downloadings =.=.

Some "hygiene talk"

Have you ever wash your toilet? If you had not do so, do it. Grab some time in your holiday, and do it. Trust me, the outcome of the result will greatly overwhelm your tiredness. I never felt better, even better than Godlike'ing and Triple Kill'ing in DotA.

Today I took my time to go back to Millennium Court (MC), my good old hostel. Well it will still accompany me for the coming 3 years (I suppose), so I've proposed to my parents today so that they could fetch me to PJ (about 40 minutes ride from Ampang) and could as well help me out in my cleaning :p. Frankly it has been months since the last time I clean up my room, I'm not the working type, I'll just push every task away so that they could stay as far from me as possible, until the very last minute that I have no choice but to pick it up. And so, finally I knew that I could not withstand the dirtiness of my room anymore, given that coincidentally my room mate has just moved out and this is a holiday, I think there is not much choice and other reasons that could stop me from working now.

My mom asked me to bring along our vacuum cleaner equipped with the amplifier system or hi-fi or woofer or whatever you call it, well IT IS a vacuum cleaner, it's just that it's so loud that it could disturb my neighbors two houses away, and might burst your ears if you stay too close to it (ahem... A bit exaggerate but that's my way of describing this antique). At first I had in fear that I might disrupt my neighbors, but then I realized that many have gone back to their hometown, and given that it was noon, many should have attended classes (just give me a reason okay?), and bla bla bla. I even brought a mop (I used to have none in my room, sorry).

It was okay in the progress until my mom suggested "Why don't you clean your toilet? It looks disgusting..." Uhuh, you guess it, disaster! I suppose everyone on Earth has certain degree of fear and phobia towards toilet, especially when using public toilets and toilets that are not owned by ourselves, particularly those that are DIRTY, eww... Disgusting. But then... Order is order, that is my own toilet, what to fear =.=? At first the cleaning was not smooth, but as time goes on I felt like I have became one with the toilet, I begin to wash "lovingly" and "aggressively" (as I direct the water anywhere around the toilet as if my clothes won't get wet, was I being childish =.=). The result? A clean and shiny toilet, and a soaked up zLz. Without second thought I bathed in the toilet itself, and after I finished I felt sooo refreshing, "suang ah"... I love my toilet ^.^. This weird feeling is so similar to what I felt the last time I cleaned up my toilet, well this is only the second time =.=". I think as I tried my best to clean my toilet eventually I will develop it as a habit, and that I will clean it more frequently and use it "wisely", as not to dirty it.

Oh, that was something funny happened between me and my room mate too. On the day before I came back to Ampang from MC for my holiday, we got to speak to each other and know more about each other (not that we don't get the chance to do so everyday... It's just that... Well... I'm not good in social'ing, neither is he).

RM: "Huh? You study in UTAR? I didn't know!"
zLz: "Uhuh?"
RM: "Which UTAR?"
zLz: "PJ campus."
RM: "Oh? PJ got UTAR meh?" (SWEAT...)
zLz: "Got la, at Seksyen 14, opposite of Seksyen 17..."
RM: "Oh, all along I thought you study in UTAR Setapak, and that you take bus from here to there..."

And the yada yada...

Well, I stay in PJ and I take bus to Setapak which is way nearer from my own house... YEA RIGHT... SWEAT... I have stayed with this room mate for 1 year, and I knew nothing about him except his phone number and his name (not even full name)... What a "room sharing"... I seldom talk with him, and he's the quiet type too. I begin to doubt my people skill =.=.

Go get 'em, tiger.

Kept repeating this song when I was back from the theater... Though it has nothing to do with the movie =.=. Yeah I like this song.

Spiderman, Spiderman,
Does whatever a spider can.
Spins a web, any size,
Catches thieves just like flies.
Look out! Here comes the Spiderman.

Is he strong? Listen bud—
He's got radioactive blood.
Can he swing from a thread?
Take a look overhead.
Hey there! There goes the Spiderman.

In the chill of the night,
At the scene of the crime,
Like a streak of light,
He arrives just in time!

Spiderman, Spiderman,
Friendly neighborhood Spiderman.
Wealth and fame, he's ignored—
Action is his reward.
To him,
Life is a great big bang-up—
Wherever there's a hang-up,
You'll find the Spiderman!

Yes I've watched it, the third installment of the greatest trilogy ever, bite me. Blekk...

DotA really sucks...

Don't have the mood to think of anything today, I'm tired. Just got back from that DotA training session. Seriously it's strange and super weird to train a girl into DotA!! =.= I hate DotA.

End.

Aye aye sir, it will be solved in no time!

"If you don't see you've got a problem, then you won't solve it" - Tan Sri Ramon Navaratnam (President of Transparency International Malaysia)

I'm glad to hear your saying Mr. Navaratnam but I would like to modify a little bit on that sentence, "If the public and newsgroup don't say you've got a problem, then you won't have to solve it."

"WTF" you say? Well I was just sounding my opinion behalf the Malaysian culture that we used to practice in this country. Yes this is Malaysian style, this is Malaysia, this is the government of Malaysia, and this is the people of Malaysia. How often do we get news on the corruption of Malaysian authorities, landslide, NS problems, Samivellu issue, Anwa issue, AP issue, the abuse of power, the Datuk issue, the recent Putra Jaya government buildings issue, and many many things else in the past? Not until someone make his/her complains to the specific authority (given that his/her complains are to be taken care of "concerned" officers...), make it to the news, being persistent enough till someone stands out and say something.

Regarding the current issue, the bad quality of newly constructed government buildings, there are three already. Roofs falling off, pipes bursting out... All sorts of troubles. Holy crap! Those buildings are way newer than my hut! Why are these things happening?

For a moment there I was wondering why is it everytime once an unpleasant situation (regarding the government) is being revealed, more and more will come eventually, it's like a chain. Like those landslides, Samivellu's, Datuk issuing, AP issuing, and all... More in-depth information will be revealed and soon enough more and more culprits and troubles will be made to the headlines. Once there is a corruption of building here at Ampang, another case will be reported at Sungai Buloh =.=. Why is it so? I think I have got the answer. This is because things are happening all the time, just that nobody ever dare to report or had any hopes that their complains will be heard. They are not in the news doesn't mean that they are not happening! Many hopes that the news will be overlooked over time, and eventually be forgotten.

The authorities feel that they will have to do something when all of the countrymen begin to doubt their transparency and efficiency because the bad news is all about them. I'm puzzled, I begin to question the transparency of news. Even if I read newspaper almost everyday I still don't think that many unseen truths and happenings are being reported, maybe I'm a little bit of underestimating our government, they can actually manipulate the news! Many problems and bad news about the government that once made a month streak on the headlines will eventually be wiped out from the paper without a good explanation and solution, often leaving the "concerned ones" behind. Soon enough, we'll see...

Star newspaper - N10 "Less talk, do more please."

Sorry to disappoint you, but my brain doesn't come with nutri-plus...

Just got back from Spectrum, one of the not-so-pristine shopping complexes that you can find around the Ampang area. Yes it sucks but we have no choice but to shop there for tonight's dinner since we have eaten our breakfast around there and my mom insisted to print some photos. Well we went in the wet market section but it was not long before I rushed out from that area gasping for air, man it stinks!! =.=

I left with nothing to do but to lepak around and take a look at the dry section, and then I tumbled upon a rack of eggs. I had a brief look through, surprisingly I found ALL of them have a similar feature, they all have the label "nutri-plus" on them, =.=. I was wondering, when did this so-call "nutri-plus" started to dominate the market and many products followed up right after its glorious market demands. And then I went through the vege section and the same phenomenon stunned me for a while, though the phrase they used this time is different, it's "organic", but I guess it's no different from "nutri-plus", since both of them will be interpreted as "quality product, safe and healthy to be consumed" by the customers.

I'm not saying that all this "nutrition-enhanced" food is merely bullshit or such thing never exist at all, but in fact I believe that, or, I "believed" that, not now, not with so many self-proclaimed "nutri-plus" and "organic" products flowed into the market without official approval recently. I doubt soon enough we will get to see "nutri-plus" soft drinks, "nutri-plus" junk food, "nutri-plus" beer, "nutri-plus" char kwuey teow, "organic" straw, "organic" spoon, "organic" pillow, "organic" phone, "organic" dictionary (don't ask me what why how, it's just "organic", "organic" doesn't need a reason =.=)...

Hurray

Nothing much to crap about today... Cause practically I have done nothing interesting besides gaming, I'm bored to hell =.=. Well I would just like to congratulate myself for breaking my own record, it's the highest to date. V(^.^)V
